I, Gregory J. Villareal, PhD own Keraton Films and am the executive producer for an International film currently in pre-production (AMANAH).  As a DJ and music aficionado, I provided music scoring for an independent feature (CARD SHARKS), played in a Los Angeles-based band, served as a UCLA Radio host, and volunteered at 89.9 FM KCRW and HUM Music & Sound Design in Santa Monica, CA.  From a biotech startup in Boston to the Bali beaches and West Java mountains as an ex-pat, I utilize life experiences, unique character encounters, and unrelenting challenges to pepper my creative writing, control plot pacing, evoke vivid imagery, and develop distinctive dialogue.  Since 2000, I have also published numerous peer-reviewed articles in the areas of Alzheimer’s Disease, Precision Medicine, Learning & Memory, Nanotechnology and Drug Addiction; and, in 2006 earned a doctorate degree in Neurobiology from the University of California Los Angeles.
